Llanthony valley is an unspoiled mystical valley between Abergavenny and Hereford.

A place you always wish to return to time and time again. Where wild pony's run free with the sheep on the hills, where buzzards keep an eye on you from way up in the clouds. A place where you wish time could stand still and sometimes does.

Set in a peaceful and secluded spot in the beautiful Black Mountains. The friendly 17th Century Pub is an ideal base for walkers or Pony trekkers. We are also well situated to explore the Norman Border Castles, old Churches, and Chapels of the Welsh Borders. The town of Abergavenny is only 12 miles and the small bookshop town of Hay on Wye is 13 Miles, Hereford 25 Miles and Cardiff 40 Miles.

Llanthony Abbey is only 200 yards. All welcome.
